Anthony John Graziano Jr, 77, of Daytona Beach, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2023. Anthony was born on May 21, 1946, in Jersey City, NJ, to the late Anthony John Graziano Sr and Rose Graziano.
Tony began studying music at the age of six and earned his way through high school and college as a keyboard player and singer with The Emeralds. After college, he began traveling with the recording group, The Viscounts, famous for songs Night Train, Harlem Nocturne and Wabash Blues. In 1970 began performing in nightclubs and lounges along the New Jersey Shore with The Arrangement. From 1973 to 1984, Tony moved to Daytona Beach and performed in the group with Greg Cardino called “The Better Way” at the Aku Tiki Inn and the famous Traders Lounge. Shortly after leaving the Aku Tiki, Tony began arranging and recording MIDI formatted computer-assisted music and teamed up with Gino Bellino and his wife Malia to form A Family Affair. When Gino and Malia left in June 1991, Tony continued with his wife Susan as a duo.
Tony moved away from the music business to further his education achieving multiple degrees at UCF including computer, financial and marketing sciences. He expanded his education and talents to a top tier career in design, manufacturing and sales of commercial brazing equipment to companies nationally and internationally around the world.
In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, mixing music, riding motorcycles and heckling with those he loved.
He is predeceased by his father, Anthony Graziano Sr, his mother Rose Graziano, daughter Diana Maltese, daughter Annette Morey, father in-law Francis Welch.
Anthony is survived by his wife of 50 years, Susan Graziano of Daytona Beach, daughter AnnMarie (Jim) Shaner, sister Patricia Davis and brother in-law Raymond Davis and daughters JoyRae (Rick), Patrice and son Billy, Donna (Eric).
He is also survived by his mother in-law Dolores J Welch, sister in-law Tancy, Johnnie and son Erik, brother in-law Roger and Marlene, sister in-law Robin and Steve, and 7 grandkids and 9 great-grandkids.
For immediate family and close personal friends, a celebration of life and visitation for Anthony will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL 32129. A funeral service will immediately follow from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
