Rudolph "Rudy" Sturm Jr.

Rudolph “Rudy” Sturm, Jr., 55, of Port Lavaca passed away on December 31, 2023. He was born October 29, 1968, in Port Lavaca to Rudolph Sturm Sr. and Johannah Dahse Sturm. Rudy worked at Interplast, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his loving dog, Starr, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 9-10 a.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Cory Houseworth, Marty Strakos, Kevin Henke, Marc Foester, Ricky Gonzales, Marcos Rodriguez, Nathan Smith, and Russell Janak. Honorary Pallbearers are Mark Sturm, Marvin Strakos, Ronnie Henke, Mark Reinhardt ,and Ronnie Sturm.
