Rodney Dean McBee, 54, of Port Lavaca passed away April 13, 2023. He was born October 13, 1968 in Pasadena to Harold and Juanita McBee. Rodney worked as Shift Safety and a first responder at Formosa. He has a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and was a member of the Port Lavaca Church of Christ.
He is survived by his son, Tyler McBee (Alyssa); daughter, Jorden McBee; step-daughter, Johna Trevino; mother, Juanita McBee; brothers, Dennis McBee and Mike McBee; and grandchildren, Jayden, Josiah, Braelynn, and Brihanna.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie McBee and father, Harold McBee.
A celebration of Rodney’s life will be held Friday, May 5, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers are Mark Gonzales, Fernando Ovalle, Joe Castillo, Chris Williams, Chris McBee and Jackie Lovett.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
