Richard Bean, 84, of Dallas passed away November 24, 2015. He was born October 29, 1931 in Houston, TX to the late Arthur Dee Bean Jr. and Nannie Evelyn Morrison Bean. He served in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his sons, Franklin Arthur Bean and Richard Leroy Bean Jr. and sister, Maida Clark.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Alma Thompson; daughter, Kathryn Lea Bean; parents and brother-in-law, John “Hootie” Claxton Clark.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 30, 2015 from 1-2 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home in Port Lavaca. Graveside Services will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with military honors under the auspices of Calhoun County Veterans Joint Honor Guard.
