Raymond Hill

Port Lavaca- Raymond Hill 84 of Port Lavaca passed away May 9, 2015. He was born November 23, 1930 in Port Lavaca to the late Jesus and Pauline Villarreal Hill. Raymond was retired from King Fisher Marine and was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Raymond was a man who was known and loved by all.

He is survived by his sons, Raymond Hill, Jr., Robert “Bobby” Hill, Michael Hill, and Gilbert Hill; daughters, Lisa Cumpian, Betty Ruddick, and Terri Hill; step-daughters, Irene Galvan and Janie Guevara; sisters, Juanita “Janie” Sanchez, Frances Rubio, Mary Esther DeLaGarza, Sophie Pena, and Linda Galvan; brother, John Hill; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Hill and her brother Guadalupe Hill.

A Rosary will be recited at 7 pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Port Lavaca Cemetery.
