Patricia Novosad Lester

Patricia Novosad Lester, 79, of Port Lavaca passed away September 19, 2016. She was born April 30, 1937 in East Bernard to the late August Joseph Thomas Novosad and Pearline Find Novosad. Patricia was retired from Calhoun County High School where she taught Homemaking for many years. She loved to play bridge, to dote on her grandkids, sewing and she loved the extensive travelling she was able to do with her mother.

She is survived by her children, Lesley Lester of Kyle (Carla Baze), Thomas Paul Lester of Smithville and Lesa Lester Casey of Port Lavaca and her grandchildren, Dakota and Bailee Casey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Leo Lester; parents and her Uncles Norman Novosad and Ed Novosad.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Kelli Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Bobby Lee, Donald Wehmeyer, Norman Novosad, Tad Dio, Bob Bonar and Tony Wehmeyer.
