Marylin Kay Daniel

Marylin Kay Daniel met John L. Daniel in 1977. Despite fierce opposition and concern from her brother, Duane, warning her about John being from Seadrift, she married him anyway. Being a person of full-blooded German descent, she would prove to everyone she was capable of making her own decisions.

Marylin was born July 1, 1959, in Victoria to Erwin Otto John Pfeifer and Maryann Miller Pfeifer. She passed away on April 13, 2024.

Marylin is survived by her husband of 44 years, John L. Daniel; sons, Kyle Logan Daniel and Caylin Miles Daniel; sisters, Shirley Rogers and Charlotte Broll (Daniel); brother, Duane Pfeifer (Nancy); and grandchildren, Maverick Daniel and Emory Daniel.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Tivoli Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Broll, Danny Broll, Nicolas Broll, Wesley Monjaras, Dalton Monjaras, and James Benedick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of South Texas.
