Juan Alberto Cano

Juan Alberto Cano, age 59 passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 5-8PM at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 at 9AM at New Beginnings Church in Port Lavaca, with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery in Victoria. Serving as pallbearers are Javier Castro, Oscar Garza, Daniel Hernandez, Jose A. Cano, Jose F. Cano and Jaime Rios.

Juan was born in La Faja, Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Rosa Hernandez de Cano and Antioco Cano Hernandez. He was a great warrior for God. He loved to preach at church and loved his family. In everything that he did, God came first! He was loved by everyone as he brightened up the room with his smile. He truly was #1 Dad. There is no purest love than the love a daughter has for her father.

Juan is survived by his wife, Maria Isabel Bazaldua Cano; daughters, Rosa Castro, Isabel Garza and Sarai Hernandez; sisters, Eliasar Cano, Raquel Cano, Maria Elena Campos, Teresa Cortina, Martina Rios and Maria DeJesus Aviles; brothers, Francisco Cano and Antioco Cano; and his 10 grandchildren.

Juan was preceded in death by his father, Antioco Cano Hernandez; his mother, Rosa Hernandez de Cano; and sister, Sara Cano De Navarette.
