Joshua Olivarez was called to his heavenly home on June 13, 2014 at the age of 38. He was born July 24, 1975 in Port Lavaca to Isabel Valdez Spiller and the late Juan “Johnny” Olivarez. He was a Radiographer for Furminite.
He is survived by his wife, Corena G. Olivarez; daughter, Malorie Ruiz; son, Sean Anthony Torres Olivarez; mother and step-father, Isabel and Walter Spiller; brother, Jonathon Olivarez all of Port Lavaca; sister, Rebecca Olivarez and his 4-legged kids, “Chops” and “Catalian”.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 16, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jonathon Olivarez, Aaron Zamora, Eric Garza, Donald Gray, Richard Pulsifer, Arnulfo “Cookie” Arriaga, Jr., Byron Battle, Jerry Barnes and Chris Laviolette.
Honorary Pallbearers are Zaiden “Gordo” Zamora, Davin “Pops” Garza, Sean Garza, Seth Garza, Justin Pena, John Pena, Adrian Hisquierdo, Jose Sanchez, The Furminite Crew, Quinton Garza, Geo Valadez, our English bulldog “Chops” and his kitty “Catalian”.
