Joe L. Villarreal Sr.

Joe L. Villarreal Sr., 67, of Port Lavaca passed away April 4, 2022. He was born March 25, 1955 in Robstown to Augustine Sr. and Altagracia Villarreal. He enjoyed spending time fishing, racing and working on vehicles, and being outdoors. Joe was a true jack of all trades and master of none!

He is survived by his loving wife, Belinda Garza Villarreal; children, Erica (Josh) Gilpatrick, Celestina (Matt) Stone, Robin (JB) Villarreal, and Jose (Ashley) Villarreal Jr.; siblings, Augustine Villarreal Jr., Maria Anita Anguiano, Emma Laguna, Juan Villarreal Sr., Senaida Villarreal, Elias Villarreal, Christina Salinas, Irene Villarreal, and Silverio Garcia; 15 grandkids and 1 great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home followed by a rosary at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, April 11, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jose Oliveros Villarreal Jr., Gavin Villarreal, Larry Farias Jr., Joaquin (Ernie) Stone, Augustine Laguna, and David DeLeon. Honorary pallbearers are Nathaniel Bass, Malcom Villarreal, and Kaden Stone.
