Francis Viet Quoc Nguyen (Francisco Xavier), 36, of Seadrift passed away April 23, 2021. He was born in Houma, LA on February 12, 1985 to The Van and Lisa Xuan Nguyen. Francis loved taking on new adventures and traveling to new places and trying new foods. He enjoyed snowboarding with his family and friends, and especially loved spending time with his family and being an uncle to his three nephews.
He is survived by his parents; girlfriend, Jeanie Phan; sister, Mimi Nguyen and her husband, Ryan Abraham, and his godson, Eli Abraham; sister, Vivian Nguyen and her husband, Derek Zarate and their sons, Gavyn and Drew Zarate; and brother, Josh Nguyen.
Visitation will be held both Thursday, April 29th and Friday, April 30th from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary to follow both nights at 7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be Saturday, May 1st at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Seadrift with Father Son officiating. Burial will follow in Seadrift Cemetery.
The pallbearers are Peter Nguyen, Mike Nguyen, Son Nguyen, Phuong Nguyen, Ryan Abraham, and Derek Zarate.
