Emerardo A. Falcon

Emerardo A. Falcon, 87, of Port Lavaca, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on July 11, 2016. Emerardo was born July 7, 1929 in Porvenir Ramones, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. In 1956 he moved to Port Lavaca. He worked for King Fisher Marine Service for 33 years. Through his hard work, he showed the importance of sacrifice and by his love and care provided support and guidance to his family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria de Los Santos Perez; son, Jaime Falcon; and grandson, Juan Jose "Jay" Perez.

He leaves his beloved wife of 66 years, Consuelo B. Falcon; children, Jesse Falcon and wife Mercedes, Greg Falcon and wife Chris, Lupe Aguirre and husband Edward, Sonny Falcon and wife Mary, Andy Falcon, Sylvia Fortenberry and husband Robin, Libby Grigsby and husband Doug; 23 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 pm followed with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home, 123 Newlin, Port Lavaca, Texas.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, 301 S. San Antonio St., Port Lavaca, Texas, with Father Tommy Chen officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1517 FM 1679, Port Lavaca, Texas.
