Clara Martinez Sanchez

Clara Martinez Sanchez, 62, of Corpus Christi passed away October 10, 2018. She was born April 25, 1956 in Bay City, TX to Alex Martinez and Margaret Rangel Barefield. Clara loved to cook and it was always a big meal when she did! She was a very loving and giving person and you could always depend on her for a helping hand.

She is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Sanchez; daughters, Trisha Caluillo, Monique Martinez; son, Fred Martinez; parents, Eugene Barefield Sr. and Margaret R. Barefield; sisters, Mary Helen Martinez, Bertha Gohn; brothers, Abraham Garza, Eugene Barefield Jr. ; uncle, Ray Rangel and aunt, Martha Rangel of Bay City; and 7 grandchildren.

A Rosary will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca followed by a mass at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Gulf.
