Carrie Birkett

Carrie Birkett, 56, of Seadrift passed away November 27, 2024. She was born March 28, 1968 in Port Lavaca to Carrell Thomas and Barbara Stanfill. Carrie was very involved with the Combat Marine Outdoors and she loved her dogs. She loved to travel, and especially loved Australia, as she spent almost 20 years of her life there.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara Stanfill; sisters, Marsha Clark and Carla Kuhlman (Kyle); and her nieces and nephews, Brooklynn, Mason and Briley Clark, and Kyler, Hunter and Hayden Kuhlman.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carrell Stanfill and her loving dog, Jake.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Seadrift followed by a celebration of Carrie’s life at 11. Burial will follow in Seadrift Cemetery.
