Rosaleen T. Buonomo, born on November 19, 1938, passed peacefully on May 8, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be cherished.
Rosaleen was the beloved wife of Philip for 57 years, a partnership marked by unwavering love and devotion. As a mother, her nurturing spirit was evident in her relationships with her children: Christine Cox and her husband Jeffrey, Diane Graney and her husband Michael, and Philip and his wife Danielle. Her dedication to her family extended to her role as a grandmother, where she found immense joy in the presence of her grandchildren: Michael P. Graney, Katherine Cox, Evan Graney, Jack Cox, Philip Jack Buonomo, Matthew Buonomo, and Luke Buonomo.
Born in Northern Ireland, Rosaleen's life journey was enriched by her love for travel, particularly her fondness for visiting Atlantic City and indulging in the thrill of gambling. Yet, amidst her adventures, she remained grounded in her faith, finding solace and strength in her spirituality. Above all, Rosaleen treasured moments spent with her family, relishing in the laughter and love shared with her dear grandchildren.
Rosaleen's memory will be forever cherished by her surviving brother Micky O'Neill, along with the memory of her late siblings Kathleen, Nora, Barney, and Annie. Her absence leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness, love, and gentle presence.
