Bob is survived by his loving wife Janet, who stayed stedfast by his side during his battle until the very end; his only son Travis who made him proud each and every day; his incredible daughter-in-law Genevieve and their two adored children Ellis and Fiona, whom he had endless plans to watch grow in the years to come.
He was also the beloved brother-in-law of Barbara, Patty and Matt for the past 38 years. Their stories together will continue to be told to their children and grandchildren.
Not only a loving family man, Bob was a dedicated employee to Quality King Distributors for more than 45 years. His coworkers became his extended family and a large part of why he continuously put off retirement.
Bob found happiness in the simple and peaceful things in life, spending countless days walking the beach with his wife Janet, working on the yard and planting flowers, exercising with Bonnie and above all else spending time with his family.
He now joins his father, George; mother, Greta; and brother William in whatever comes after this life.
Bob also had an extraordinary love for the holiday season and understood the importance of being with family. Because of this a small celebration of live will be held on December 30th from 6-9 PM at OB Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776.
