Beloved brother of Harry Cover and his partner, Nanette Beno. Loving uncle of Danielle Bernard and her husband Daniel. Cherished great uncle of Grace and Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry W. and Mary K. Cover; his brother, Bill Cover; and his sister, Ann Cover.
Robert had been a long time resident of AHRC where he used to enjoy swimming, golf and listening to music. In more recent years he resided at the Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation.
A visitation for Robert will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Closing words by the director on Monday at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY 11933.
He will be remembered fondly by his family and friends.
