You don't know me, but Patricia Moon used to live in my house in Sound Beach.  I used to get her mail so I remembered the name.  For some reason, I came across the article of her passing today when I was looking for something else and I wondered if it was the same woman that lived here.  Then I remembered about 10 yrs ago, when we were doing some renovations on this house where she used to live, my husband found a tin box and when we opened it there were various trinkets, photos & a letter from Brittany Moon - I guess it was a time capsule and it was from 1998.  We saved the box all these years and I opened it tonite and compared the pictures and it is from Brittany Moon, Pat's daughter.  I felt like someone in the family might want this box back and I didn't know how else to contact you. We are saddened and want to express our deepest sympathy to your family.  Hard to comprehend that you are gone in body, yet brings a smile knowing that you are an angel up in heaven.

Words can't express the lost of a good friend.  We have know each other since we were in elementary school. My heart goes out to your two beautiful daughters, Brittany and Taylor. Im here to say goodbye to a wonderful women, a "mother" that I could talk to about anything and everything. I can not be there in person to say my last goodbye. Your are now with your husband Robert who you loved so dearly. I will forever miss your smile and contagious laugh!!!!
