Matthew R. Carroll of South Setauket New York passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024. He happily joins his wife Claudia in eternal peace. Loving father to Claudia, Laureen and Raymond (Jennifer), grandfather to Christina, Matthew (Melissa), David (Tiffany), Robin, Elizabeth (Brian), Kelly, Raymond (Madison) and Michael, great grandfather to Sean, David, Matthew, Dawson, Allison and Anastasia.
Matt was born on August 25, 1935. He loved working with his hands, was a passionate and talented bowler, with a 300 game under his belt and he enjoyed working in his flower garden.
Matt was a devoted husband and father and is now reunited with the love of his life Claudia.
In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to a charity of your choice as Matt believed in the work of many different charities.
A visitation for Matthew will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. A funeral mass will occur Friday, May 31, 2024 from 10:00 AM at St. Gerard Majella, 300 Terryville Rd, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 NY-112, Coram, NY 11727.
