My Uncle Joe was the nicest kindest man you could ever meet.  He was always asking how my son was doing before anyone else asked, I miss that caring man & that he was.

I can remember when I was young sitting in the garage with Dad watching the rain come down. My Friends would all come over and grab a chair to watch the rain with my Dad. Sometimes, if we were lucky, we would also see lightening. My Dad would sit quietly and smile. What a great memory.

I remember as a kid telling Louie I was going home to take a bubble bath; Louie said you are seven years old and you still take bubble baths. Joe said that's ok people took bubble baths in the Army during WWII all the time. When I get older I realized that people in the Army during WWII did not take bubble baths, Joe just said that to make me feel ok about taking bubble baths. Joe never criticized.

Dad was a great husband, a great Dad and our best friend.

I loved talking baseball with Uncle Joe. Especially his stories about making money selling vegetables off the push cart so he could go to see the Yankees when they were home.

Joe was a good man. Never a bad word to say about anyone.

Joe was always kind to me, he had a warm smile and a kind word for as long as I knew him.

So sorry to here about Uncle Joe. He will always be remembered by all the good times we had together in Sound beach & as one
of my favorite uncles.

I remember 10 years ago when you brought your Dad to our investment portfolio meetings. He would sit quietly and listen carefully to everything. He was a great man.

Uncle Joe was always so calm and relaxed, I can never remember him yelling at me or anyone else.

I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Joe. I know he was sick for a long time with that horrible disease, so I'm sure he's doing better now. It's been so long since we've seen any of you, which makes it worse that we can't come to the services. We'll be praying for Uncle Joe and the rest of you. He was one of the good guys.
