John Michael Ryan, age 88, of Mt Sinai, New York passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Beloved husband of Frances. Together they raised three boys, Michael (Eileen), Christopher (Mary), and Robert (Sherri). Adored grandfather to six; Matthew, Katherine, Brendan, Colleen, Patrick, and Casey. John was known for his love of his family, his passion for his profession, and his knowledge on politics.
A visitation for John will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Hwy, Port Jefferson Station, New York 11776. A funeral mass will occur Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11:30 AM at St Louis de Montfort RC Church, 75 New York Ave, Sound Beach, New York 11789. Burial with Army Honors will occur Monday, August 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY.
