James Greco

Born on May 10, 1941, James was the son of the late Fred and Rose Greco. He served his country with pride as a veteran of the United States Army from 1960 to 1962.

James was married to his devoted childhood love, Jeanette. Together, they were the proud parents of Dean, Roseanne, and Amanda. He was the cherished grandpa of Brianna, Zachary, Ivy, Owen, Valentino, and Dahlia. James was also the loving uncle of Steven, Lori, Chris, Gregory, Christine, and Joseph.

In his professional life, James was a graphic designer by trade. In retirement, he enjoyed collecting various items from eBay, including watches, clocks, and the well-talked-about lifelike giant leather tiger.

James will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, located at 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776, on December 11, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will take place at St Gerard Majella CCD, 300 Terryville Rd, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776, on December 12, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The Committal Service will be held at Calverton National Cemetery, Wading River, NY 11792, on December 12, 2024, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.

In Lieu of Flowers, Donations can be made to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital in James' memory.
