Beloved wife of Vincent "Jimmy". Loving mother of Diana Giambone (Steve Cornelia) and Alicia Blakely (Daniel). Cherished sister of Delia, Andrew, Robert and Theresa and sister-in-law of Carolyn, Hirayda, Joe (Irma), MaryAnn (Ricky), John (Ileana), the late Anthony and the late Debbie. Adored aunt of Roxann, Annmarie, Leslie, Amber, David, Makayla, Sienna, Mia Rose, Will, Regina, Joe, Eileen, Michael, Christine, Pete, Denise, Brian, Nancy, Bonnie, Jennifer, Marissa, Savier, Jinayra, Danny, Jason, Kim, John, Christopher, Justine, Leah, Susan, Caitlyn the late Vinny, the late Eric and all their children.
Gloria was born in Lima, Peru. She loved God and loved sharing her faith. She also loved her heritage and loved to share that with her daughters. She learned how to cook amazing peruvian food side by side with her mother, Delia and enjoyed teaching her daughters and her husband how to make some of these amazing dishes. She loved being around her family and friends, and loved to dance at family gatherings. She was always willing to help her family when they were in need and was always giving to others. She always could find the right words of encouragement when needed. She had a big heart, infectious laugh and beautiful soul.
A visitation for Gloria will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 1-3 and 6-9 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Service officiated by Pastor Jason Thomas on Thursday at 7:30 PM. Closing prayer Friday at 9:45 AM. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
