Georgios Stamatis Hionas, born on March 7, 1992, passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 32. A resident of Port Jefferson Station, New York, Georgios was loved by all who knew him. He was known for his generous spirit and hard-working nature.
Georgios was a beloved son of Stamatios and CherylAnn and a cherished brother to Nicholas and Michael. He was a huge Islanders fan and had a passion for gambling at Jake's 58. Georgios loved to travel and take cruises, never missing an opportunity to enjoy takeout food rather than eating at home. His cherished BMW was a testament to his love for life and adventure.
Georgios will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Georgio's life will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 10:30 AM.
Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Sinai NY.
