McGrath, Elaine (nee Lang) formerly Elaine Ambacher on August 9. Born and raised in the Bronx. Proud member of the Ladies Auxilliary of both the New Hyde Park and Setauket Fire Departments as well as a member of the Ladies Auxilliary of Suffolk, Nassau, N.Y. S and Southern New York. Beloved wife of the late Deputy Chief Thomas McGrath and the late William Ambacher Sr. Devoted mother of the late William Ambacher Jr. Cherished grandmother of 3 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Loving sister of Audrey Vodola and the late Gloria Purtill. Also survived by daughter Kathi Letscher ( Steve). Visitation Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at O.B.
