William J. Seery

William J. Seery of Windsor, NY, 61, passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 29, 2013 of natural causes. Bill was born on March 16, 1952 to John & Eleanor Seery of Fenton, NY. At the age of 24 Bill married Diane Jones with whom they had 2 children, April and Mathew. He worked as a Product Specialist at Universal Instruments but everyone knows him best for his mechanical abilities. He restored many classic cars and trucks through the years and was well known for his Chevelles. Bill was always the person everyone in town could count on to fix something that needed fixing or mow a lawn that needed mowing. He was always willing to help anyone. In his later years he spent most of his time traveling and living life to the fullest with his new wife Betty. He also enjoyed wood working and spoiling his granddaughter. Bill is survived by his wife, Betty Bogart of Windsor; son, Mathew Seery; daughter, April & William Grant; granddaughter, Juliette Grant and expected grandson, all of Camillus, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 12 Noon at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson, NY 13901. Burial will be in the Chenango Valley Cemetery at the convenience of his family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
