William J. Lobacz, 54, of Binghamton NY passed away on Monday, April 02, 2018, following a brief illness. He was predeceased by his father Chester F. Lobacz, sister Maureen and brother Mark C. Lobacz. He is survived by his mother Rita C. Lobacz, Binghamton; brothers and sister-in-law Larry & Jeri Lobacz, Acworth, GA and Richard Lobacz, Binghamton; sisters and brother-in-law Therese Lobacz, Binghamton and Eileen & John Aswad of Chenango Forks; also nieces and nephews Daniel & Andrea, Michael, Marisa & Andy, Matthew & Elisa, Dimitri, Antonia, Shannon, Katie, Mari & Michael, Kali & Johnny and numerous other relatives and loving friends. William was born in Binghamton NY on August 1, 1963 to Chester Francis & Rita Detrick Lobacz. He was a graduate of Chenango Valley High School and attended Broome Community College. He had recently been employed with Cutmore Construction Inc. He was a devoted uncle and had a great love for his family and friends. A special thank you to the nursing staff at Wilson Hospital’s North Tower 2 and South Tower 5, Dr. Pollack and his staff, Dr. Qin and his staff, Dr. Goldman and his staff for their wonderful care of William.
A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, April 6, 2018 10:30am from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Hillcrest, NY. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at church Friday from 9:30am until the time of Mass.
