Sara R. Holt

Sara Rose (Slavetskas) Holt, 33, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 27, 2023. She was a devoted mother to her beloved children Madalyn and Ryan along with her husband Bartlett. Sara was an extremely thoughtful and compassionate person who loved to help others.

Sara graduated from Susquehanna Valley High School, SUNY Broome, and Anousheh School of Hair. At SV, she was a talented diver on the swim team and played several years on the softball team. Sara especially enjoyed spending time with her family at their camp in Thousand Islands where you would often find her swimming, fishing, boating, and jet skiing. Most recently she came to enjoy aviation with her husband, regularly flying with her family to new places. She was known for her zest for life and unyielding enthusiasm. Sara also took pride in being creative with her artistic talent.

Sara is survived by her husband Bartlett, children Madalyn and Ryan, parents Joe and Vickie Slavetskas, brothers Matt and Justin, nephew Benjamin Slavetskas, mother-in-law and father-in-law Diann & Mark Holt, brother-in-law Derek Fairchild, niece Adesyn Fairchild, sister-in-law Lori (Mike) Sieffert, nephews Joseph, Alex and Daniel Sieffert and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY, on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 12-2pm, with a funeral service to follow at 2pm.
