She is survived by her daughter Susan Fanning & her life partner,David DeMaria, and daughter & son-in-law Melody & Scott Correll; grandchildren John & Bernadette (Gapuz) Fanning, and Danielle Fanning; her beloved great grandchildren, Emma, Henry & Jason, who were the light of her life; brother Ellis Denny; several nieces, nephews and a special cousin, Shyleen Wilsey.
Sally was a retired employee of Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and as such, she organized and delivered filled backpacks for children in need at local schools. Sally was an avid local hockey fan and an active supporter through the booster club for many years. She also enjoyed the local baseball games. Sally was a cookie baker extraordinaire, known by local hockey and baseball players for her delicious cookies which she often made for them for road-trips.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, but she never stopped missing her beloved husband, David.
The Family will recieve friends at the Windsor Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 10-11am. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am with Rev. Nate Edwards officiating. Burial will follow be in Knox Cemetery, Ouaquaga, NY at 12pm. A lunch will be offered at church from 1-3pm.
