Janet M Budine

Janet Budine, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 28, 1937, Janet was able to celebrate her 85th birthday before passing away on January 30th, 2023. Janet was a member of the Chenango Bridge Methodist Church as well as a member of the Kattelville Seniors Association. She worked for Coughlin and Gerhart law firm for 37 years before she retired and became active in her church and seniors club activities. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and doing jigsaw puzzles. Janet is predeceased by her mother, Marjorie Craig, and daughter, Cheryl Budine. She is survived by her son, William Budine and his daughters, Nicole (Vivek) and Lexis, her daughter, Michele Reynolds, and her children, Zachary, Mikayla, and Selena, her brother, Kenyon Craig, and sisters, Joan Palmer (Duane), and Jean Dyer (John), former spouse, Philip Budine as well as several nephews and nieces.

Janet’s family would like to thank the staff at Mercy House in Endicott for the wonderful care they provided.

The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Tuesday, February 7, 2022 from 4-6pm with a Funeral Service to follow. Burial will be in the Chenango Valley Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Janet’s name to Mercy House or the Chenango Bridge Methodist Church.
