Howard C. Decker Jr., 89, was called home to be with his savior on July 17, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Alma (Wahl) Decker of 69 years; daughters, Carol & Ed Namiotka and Shirley Decker. He served in the US Army During WWI in Germany. He worked at Ansco-Anitec-GAF-International Paper for over 50 years. He started as an apprentice and retired as a manager. He was an avid bowler and golfer. The family wishes to thank the staff of Absolut of Endicott for their love and care. Private services and burial were held on July 20, 2016 at Chenango Valley Cemetery per his request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards a WWII brick in his honor in Washington, DC to Shirley Decker, PO Box 5750, Granbury, TX 76049 or the American Alzhemiers Assoc., 401 Hayes Avenue, Endicott, NY 13760.
