Gloria Hider of Binghamton, 90, passed away Saturday, February 4th, 2023 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents Alexander Hider and Eva Hider Kassis, brother Edward Hider, niece Lindsey (Hider) Dwyer, and grandson Robbie Williams. She is survived by her sister Sandra Hider, brother Mitchell Hider, and brother William and Judy Hider, daughter and son-in-law; Debbie and Chuck Williams, granddaughter and fiance Nicole Williams and Brandon Sedleck, soon to be great granddaughter Estella, granddaughter Cheri Williams Areis and Mohamud Areis, special great grandsons Rasheed Areis and Dominick Williams, niece Tammy and Richard Graham, niece Alexis and Hubie Wang. Gloria had grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, great nieces and nephews.
Gloria was an educator at Port Dick Elementary. She was a long time member of the Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, watching game shows and Days of Our Lives. Gloria loved spending time and watching her favorite granddaughter Nikki grow up. She loved spending time with her special grandkids; Robbie and Cheri. Gloria was excited to meet her soon to be great granddaughter Estella Vivionna Grace. Gloria had a beautiful contagious smile that lit up the room. She is loved by so many and will be greatly missed. As per Gloria’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Family will be gathering privately to celebrate her life. A private burial will be held at Floral Park. A special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit on North Wing 4th Floor at Wilson Memorial Hospital.
