Gloria J. Chadwick

Gloria J. (DeMaria) Chadwick, 86, was peacefully taken by the angels to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Francis E. Chadwick; son, Francis A. Chadwick; parents, Dominic and Caroline DeMaria; brothers, Albert and Dominic DeMaria; sister and brother-in-law, June and Frank Palermo; brother-in-law, Robert Chadwick; granddaughter, Kimberly Ryan. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Carol and James Ryan; daughter-in-law, Elena Chadwick, Port Charlotte, FL; sister-in-law, Angeline Chadwick; grandchildren, Christopher (Tracey) Ryan; Kimberly (Larry) Luther; Thomas and Joseph Chadwick; great grandchildren, Kendal Ryan, Cameron George, MacKenzie, Erin and James Luther; numerous nieces and nephews; dear friends, JoAnne and Dante Mastronardi; special cousins who she loved dearly, Al and Linda Zemanick. Gloria was a member of St. John and St. Andrew Parish. She was a gentle, quiet woman of deep faith and taught CCD for many years, instilling her love of God and her faith to the young people of her parish. She worked at St. John’s School Cafeteria for many years. Her delicious potato salad and scrumptious chocolate cake and lemon pie will be missed by family and friends. She was a volunteer at the Catholic Information Center for many years. Calling hours will be at the Church of Sts. John and Andrew on Vestal Avenue on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations in Gloria’s name to St. John and Andrew Food Pantry. Arrangements are by the James V.
