

Glen C. Stiner passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, with his loving family by his side. Glen was predeceased by his father, Olin Stiner, and his brother in law, Skip Collins. Glen is survived by his mother Lillian “Pat” Stiner; 2 siblings, Brian Stiner (Sharon) and Colleen Collins; Aunt Rose Gauthier; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; special friends Tammy and Sean, Austin, Dickie, Randy and many more.
Glen was a standout wrestler graduating from Chenango Valley High School and went on to graduate from Springfield Community College. Glen was the owner of Perkins Automatic Heating and was well respected for the knowledge of his trade and of commercial boilers. Glen had a strong work ethic, arriving early and staying late to ensure the schools and businesses he serviced were online, often sacrificing his own needs. He was always eager to help someone in need. Glen was a lifelong fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants. He loved fishing and his yearly vacation to Sylvan Beach. He also enjoyed his title of mayor of McGirks and spending time there with friends.
Glen had a smile, laugh, and humor like no other. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
The family will receive friends and relatives at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St, Port Dickinson, NY on Saturday, September 24, from 11-1pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 1pm.
