Dorson W. Russell, 86, went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2017. He is survived by his children, Rick Russell; Nancy & Richard Stupski; Donald & Cindy Russell; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. Dorson attended Central High School and was called to defend his country and proudly served fours in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked at EJ's Shoe CO., Crowley Milk Co,; Town of Binghamton Hwy Dept., Chenango Valley High School; Broome Co. Public Works Dept. After retirement he worked for J& R Upholstery Shoppe. His hobby was working with wood, taking pictures, traveling and yielding to the word of God. Love to everyone and praying to see you upstairs in the Kingdom of God with my Lord Jesus. A memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00 am at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson NY 13901. A memorial contribution may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
