Deborah Ann Morrisey Jordan

Deborah Ann Morrisey Jordan, age 66, passed away in her home while sleeping on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Deborah was born on February 2nd 1957 to her mother, Shirley Morrisey and her father, Chester Morrisey. Deborah found joy in many things to include, traveling, puzzles, family game night, Cooking out at the park, the Mary Tyler Moore show and old westerns. Deborah was also extremely interested in genealogy and spent time each week working to connect the dots of our family history. She truly was the glue that held us all together. Throughout her life Deborah held several occupations but the most important roles she held were as a devoted Mother and Grandmother and as a friend to anyone that knew her. She is survived by her two sons, Kevin and Kris Sweeney, her two grandchildren, Jonathan and Cassandra Sweeney, her brother Jim Morrisey as well as several nieces and cousins. Per her request, Deborah will be buried next to her family in Binghamton, NY.

A viewing will be held from 9-10am on Friday, March 24th at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson with a Graveside Service to follow at 10:30am at the Chenango Valley Cemetery.
