In Vancouver he worked in telecommunications for BC Tel and then started a successful partnership in a large interconnect company. Dick finished his career working in management and marketing for Dees Communications.
Dick was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and a friend you could always count on.
Dick loved all sports and played golf regularly for many years. He also enjoyed reading, watching movies, and playing pool with his friends at Chartwell Cedarbrooke in Mission.
He was also lucky to have had a large group of friends some of which were lifelong friends that he would meet at the pub each week. He loved you all.
His family would like to thank Dr Lindsey Porter at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and the staff at Mission Hospice for their compassionate care during his illness.
He leaves his family and friends with beautiful memories, and he will be forever remembered in our hearts and prayers.
