Wonderful memories of Ken. We are thinking of you today with love

Ken was a huge presence in our lives and our boys lives.  He would entertain us with his stories told around the campfire on many of our trips.  They were so funny & probably slightly embellished but kept us  laughing uproariously to the point the camp ranger stopped by to warn us that we would be evicted from the campsite if we didn’t quiet down.  Ken & Bill spent over 2 years building twin boats, first the mold and then laying up the fibreglass.  After outfitting the interiors,  Bill’s boat was launched in 1995 and Ken’s was launched shortly after.  Both boats are still providing much enjoyment in the families with many stories told about the fibreglass odor (stench) & our tolerant and very interested neighbours. We will miss Ken so much but his memory will be with us forever.  Our sympathy to Louise, Cheryl, John, Michael and all their families. Love, Bill & Win

We always got a wave and a smile from Ken.  Stopping for a chat, we then had some laughs. If you didn't know what was going on in the neighborhood, you could always ask Ken, he kept us up to date.
We miss him very much.

Ken has been an icon on the street before and since our arrival in1980. He was the cheerful, friendly, personable guy who was interested in all of the people and happenings on the block. Want to know something?…ask Ken. Need someone to monitor your house while you’re away…ask Ken. He enjoyed the children and always had time for little chats with them as they grew up. They were shocked and saddened to hear of his passing.
His happy, friendly demeanour will be missed. 

Our deepest sympathy to Louisa and her family.  Ken was a gregarious, friendly neighbour who always made Kugler Avenue special with his waves, smiles and chats.  We will miss him.

Sorry to hear that Ken has passed. I did not know him very well but we lived in the same street. He always had a smile and such a great sense of humor. The twinkle in his eyes made him look so much younger than his age.
I am glad he was able to come to the block party in September. We will miss him
