Kenneth Allen Parker

Survived by his wife Ann Turcott and her children Luke (Sumie), Becky, Mary (Adi) and grandchildren Marie, Alyssa, Olivia. Sisters Bev Hooper and Verlie Wills (Bob), Aunt Fran Parker, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ken's passion was cars: classic cars/hot rods (Mopar expert), races, swap meets, car shows. He was one of the first PoCo Car Show Committee Members and Head Judge for many years. He always hosted a 'carbeque' at his home afterwards, to thank the many friends who also volunteered to judge the cars. Besides working on cars he enjoyed boating, ocean fishing, and RVing. He worked as a heavy duty mechanic at Freightliner, White Trucks and Labatt's. Ken was a good listener, but a man of few words, known for his wonderful one-liners and dry sense of humour. He will be missed more than he would ever have realized by his family and many, many friends.

Ken felt strongly about encouraging and supporting the younger generation getting involved in the classic cars and racing world. In lieu of flowers, any donations at the Celebration of Life will be forwarded to a high school with an automotive/motorsport program.

A celebration of life will be held on September 15th at Ken's home from 4:00 – 8:00. All those who knew Ken or his family are welcome.
