Passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer in Coquitlam, BC on September 4, 2017, surrounded by his loving family, his wife Elizabeth and his children, Lisa (Brian), Michael and Laura (Steve). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Alexina and Max, sisters, Gladys and Anne. He was dearly loved by all his extended family, including the family of his deceased sister Frances, and his friends. There will be a Celebration of Al’s Life at Como Lake United Church, 535 Marmont St., Coquitlam, BC on Saturday September 16, 2017 at 1:00 pm and in Toronto at Hart House, University of Toronto, 7 Hart House Circle, Toronto, Ontario, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 3:00 pm. Donations appreciated to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
