Dale was born in Burnaby BC in 1937, the second daughter of Raymond and Florence Gallie.
Dale was the first of her family to attend university, at UBC. Following university Dale worked as a flight attendant for CP Airline, a glamorous job at the time. She met and married Bruce Anderson in 1964 and together they built a wonderful and full life with extended family and friends. Dale had a quick wit, and her nimble mind made her a force to be reckoned with in Bridge, Scrabble, Backgammon and the many other games she loved to play. Dale and Bruce loved to host family and friends for all occasions. Whether at their beautiful home in Deep Cove, their cabin at Brighton or later, at their fabulous property in Langley, Dale and Bruce knew how to throw a party. Their annual Boxing Day open house, Brighton Fly-ins and Anderson Ups sports days were legendary events enjoyed by all.
Dale will be lovingly remembered by her sister in-law, Joan and her many nieces and nephews, Mark (Theresa), Pam (Randy), Amanda (Clinton), Laura, Jody, Cory, Greig, Keith, her great nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Rudy, Tate, Gavin, Tay, Trace and countless dear friends who enjoyed her warmth and generosity.
A thank you to Arlene and Eric as well, for their friendship.
Dale was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Florence, her sisters, Faye and Laurel, her niece Debra and her loving husband of 53 years, Bruce.
