Anna Lucy Robertson (Isfeld) was born Jan 2, 1942 in Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba to Fusi and Lucy Isfeld. Anna was the youngest of 4 children. Anna passed away peacefully at Crossroads Hospice in Port Moody, British Columbia after a 14 month long and incredibly courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer on May 23, 2023 at the age of 81 years. Over that time Anna was showered with many visits, love and affection from numerous family and friends. Anna’s passing has left a huge void and she will be forever in the hearts of her beloved and devoted husband Bruce, daughter Gloria Borlase (Craig), son Doug (Andrea). Anna was predeceased by her son Garry Bruce in 2018. Anna (Nana) will be missed dearly by her cherished grandchildren Ben, Haydn, Quinn, Kennedy and Lennon. Mourning for Anna will be her brother Lawrence and sister Gloria (Ian), sister in law Runa, sister in law Joan (Doug) and numerous nieces and nephews, family members and friends. Anna was predeceased by her beloved parents Fusi and Lucy Isfeld, brother Louis, niece Annalu, brother and sister-in-law Garry and Carol.
Anna grew up in Winnipeg Beach with her family and later moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba to live and work at Safeway, Reimer Express and Zellers. Anna married Bruce Robertson on May 2, 1963 in Winnipeg Beach, MB and lived in Winnipeg with their family for approx 10 years. Bruce and Anna and family moved to Pine Falls, MB. They lived there for 10 years getting totally immersed in the small community making many dear friends. They moved out to the west coast in 1984 and lived in Abbotsford, Coquitlam and finally in Anmore, BC. While in BC she obtained her fitness instructor certification and taught fitness classes and worked at Canada Post for a few years. Anna was very proud of her family. Family was everything to her. Spending time with family or connecting with family via texting, phone calls or Facetime was her favorite activity, She put a great amount of effort into staying connected to her family. Anna loved to learn and was constantly researching different topics. Especially if it could help someone. Anna was very happy when in the kitchen and loved creating new recipes to share with her family. Anna enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Anna was very technically savy and if interested check out her Pinterest for recipes, etc. (@alrlucy). Anna loved being near the ocean and enjoyed spending time in the USA staying in their trailer at Beachwood near Bellingham, WA and later at their vacation home in Sandy Point, WA. Anna was pure sunshine to everyone who knew her. She had so many great qualities and exuded positivity with every word she spoke.
There will be a Celebration of Anna’s beautiful life on August 18, 2023 at 10:30 am at son Doug’s home.
