Robert J Wynne

Robert "Bob" J. Wynne, 83, of Venice, FL passed away March 1, 2017. He was born March 11, 1933 in New Britain, CT and moved to this area in October of 2004 from Torrington, CT. He worked as a Tool & Die maker and Foreman for Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Standard and Timex, retiring 21 years ago. He enjoyed his retirement and he and his wife Vicki spent this time traveling, dining out, dancing and spending time with family and friends. Bob was a lifetime member of the Elks, including volunteer work. As a young man, he enjoyed bowling and had been on different leagues. He was also a member of the Men's Club at Jacaranda West Country Club. He served in the US Army National Guard during the 50's.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Vivian "Vicki" Wynne; his children, Susan (Scott) Mitchell and Michael Wynne; daughter-in-law, Tami Wynne; grandchildren, Joseph, Jackson, Jodi Wynne as well as a great grandchild, Jordyn.

A Graveside Service will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 31, 2017 at Gulf Pines Memorial Park, 2401 Englewood Rd, Englewood, FL 34223. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to the Salvation Army by calling 1-800-725-2769.
