Robert A. Dubois

Robert Andrew Dubois, 80, of Port Charlotte, passed away on June 6th, 2022. "Bobby" was born in Brentwood, NH to Alphonse and Annie Dubois. When he couldn't handle the cold anymore, he moved his family to Port Charlotte where he spent the remainder of his days.

Bobby was disabled veteran who loved to spend time golfing. When not spending time with his golf buddies, he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceeded in death by his wife of 50 years, Carol. He was also proceed by his brother, Albert and by three sisters, Yvette Ghedion, Jean Bradish and Victoria LaGault.

He is survived by his children Robert "Mark" Dubois (wife Suzanne), Andy Dubois (partner Camilla) and Dale Dubois in addition to his grandchildren Robert and Kayleigh Dubois. He is also survived by his brothers Joseph and Alphonse Dubois; brother-in-law Clayton LaGault; his sisters Louise Mitchell, Rose Whitney and Helen Cody.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, 11 June at 9:30 followed by the service at 10:00. Ceremony will be held at Kays-Ponger Funeral Home, 2405 Harbor Blvd, Port Charlotte FL 33952.
