Lorraine E Harrison

Lorraine E Dalton Harrison, 77, of Venice, FL passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Lorraine lived and worked in Venice for 40 years and enjoyed her job at the Galaxy Bowling Lanes (now known as AMF), where she met many friends. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her six children; Charles T Harrison,III of Englewood FL,

Laura (Pat) Kitchen of Maryville TN, Susan Seesholtz, of Texas, Dennis B (Aimee) Harrison of Venice FL, Scott A (Milada) Harrison of Sarasota FL and Micheal L (Yvette) Harrison of Englewood FL, as well as six grandchildren. She was especially close to her oldest grandson, Steven and his fiancée Diane as they spent nearly every day together. She also leaves behind her special grand dog, Sarah, who was her daily companion and source of comfort. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Harrison II and her parents Thomas and Ethel Dalton.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm till 6:00 pm, Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 1935 S Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL 34293. The Graveside Service will be at 10:00am, Saturday August 16, 2014 at Venice Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Staff of Venice Regional Hospital, ICU Unit, for their compassion and care for Lorraine.
