He was born in Gastonia, NC on June 27, 1947.
Kent graduated from Ashely High School.
He was married to Beverly Elaine Carringer on February 18, 2017.
Kent had a career in Architectural Landscape Design and owned his own business Casey Landscaping.
He had a passion for God, his family, fishing, boating and gardening.
He is survived by his children, Kelly Russo and husband Jason; Jenn Cowsert and husband Bill,
grandchildren; Samantha Mueller, Kortni Pruitt, Kirsten Hartz, Brook Hartz, Nikki Pruitt, Abbi Pruitt; brother Tom Carringer and Rick Carringer.
A graveside service will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Tuesday March 19, 2019 at 2pm
