I'm so sorry to read that  Cathy has died. She was my hairdresser in Ft. Lauderdale and was a wonderful friend. I believe she died of broken heart after losing her husband. Rest in peace my friend.❤️

Aunty Kathy words can’t explain how much you meant to me! Nothing against my other aunts but you truly were my favorite. I remember visiting you and uncle Alex as kids and swimming all day with anthony and uncle Alex truly great memories. When I found out we were moving to Florida as kids  and to Fort Lauderdale specifically I was so happy because I could be closer to you Aunty Kathy. I can honestly feel you watching over me and I have never felt safer. watch over me and my children until I can bring you a Reese’s and a joint and join you! I will always talk to you in my heart and spirit and I am so happy you get to be with uncle Alex now I’m sure he will show you a great time even in another life! I’ll catch up when I can Aunty Kathy until then enjoy the view I love you so much your nephew Leo!

My big sister Kathy. I am very saddened by your passing as I am for all my family. I never thought I was going to live long enough to see anyone pass. I always thought I was going to be the one to go first. I was living a very dangerous life. Leo and Anthony changed that. They had to have a father who loved and cared for them unconditionally. Leo & Anthony love you very much, Kathy. I was so proud of Anthony when he took his wife and daughter to see you. God blessed me with two great sons. I think God sees in me what you always saw in me. I thank you for your guidance in life. Always getting on me the way you did. Living so far away from my family hurt a great deal. I lost a lot being away from you. So many memories you all have of being together. The ones I do have I will take with me when I pass. I know I will see you all again. Then we can start new memories. I know you will watch over me and my boys as mom does. Mom watches over all of us like you will. Love you, big sis. Don't worry about Rita or Roberta. They are two very strong women. I will see Mom and you and the rest of the family one day to create new memories. Love you, Kathy. Love your little brother.

I can't express how hard it is to be so far away. Words are really never enough but I will try my best.
The loss of you, Mama Kathy,  is linked with our loss of Dad. No one can deny that. 
But we want to thank YOU.  Thank you for welcoming us with loving arms and for helping us to rebuild our relationship with Dad.  
I'll never forget my first trip to see you both and how amazing you were. First time I'd been called "baby girl"! The perfect Step-Mom! Your warmth and relaxed attitude made us fall in love with you.  We went out together and talked over clams at the Parrot Bar and I knew you were the perfect woman for Dad. 
I'm so grateful for our opportunity to come see you with your Grandson Rory, and for him to have known you for your lovely self. He still remembers the train and track you bought him when we came!
I'll miss our chats and your good advice! 

I'm so sad that our plans for Rory and I to come stay over Easter didn't happen.
The only thing that can console me is the knowledge that you and Dad are together again.
Rest together in peace beautiful soul.  We love you.

I miss you like crazy Aunt Kathy. I am so glad I brought Freya and my wife out to Florida to meet you and Uncle Alex. Freya loved you guys. She still plays with her stuffy that you gave her. I could spend hours and hours listening to you and Uncle Alex tell me stories about your trips around the world. So many of my best memories as a kid included you guys. I miss you and Uncle Alex everyday. It brings me some comfort knowing you guys are together again and watching over us. Till we meet again Aunt Kathy. Love your Nephew, Anthony D’Antona
