Joseph Gallo

Joseph Gallo, 88, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away October 12, 2011. He was born October 8, 1923 in Forest Grove, NJ to Genaro and Antoinette Gallo. He retired in the early 80's as the Turbine Operator Supervisor at the Vineland Electric Plant in Vineland, NJ and moved to Punta Gorda. Locally, he was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family. He and his wife loved to travel across the country in their RV and are proud to have visited each of the states.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Gloria Gallo of Punta Gorda; children, Joanne Daubenspeck, Joseph (Jackie) Gallo Jr, both of Punta Gorda and Wayne (JoAnn) Gallo of Voorhees, NJ; grandchildren, Christopher (Amanda) Bristow, Sherry (M. Scott) LaBree and Ryan (Amber) Gallo; great grandchildren, Anthony, Grace, Kayden and Kamren; sister, Teresa Tamanini of Vineland, NJ. He was pre deceased by his parents, brothers Steve and John Gallo, sister, Mary Nunziato and son-in-law, Mark Daubenspeck.

A Graveside Service wil be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E Walnut Road, Vineland, NJ 08360. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Tidewell Hospice at tidewell.org.
