Jason Owen Salter

Jason Owen Salter, 46, passed away January 24, in Venice. The son of Jesse Salter and Jeanette (Giddens) Sullivan, he was born January 19, 1965 in Sarasota. For many years he owned and operated Jason Salter and Sons Landscaping Company, working throughout the region. As a young man, Jason was a successfull Pop Warner football running back. He remained passionate about fishing and was a loving father, son, brother and friend.

Jason leaves his mother of Englewood and his father of Newport, NC. He leaves his two sons, Brandon Salter of North Port, Owen Salter of Nokomis; his sister Ceada Flower of North Port, brother Jesse Salter, Jr, of North Port and his step-sister Lula Futrull of Moorehead City, NC. Jason was predeceased by his sister Debra Yager.
