He was born on June 19, 1937 in Branch County, Michigan to Homer Fenner and Eva French Fenner. Duane came to Port Charlotte, Florida from Colon, Michigan, October 1, 1965. Duane graduate from Colon High School in 1955 and attended Michigan State College for 2 years. He was a maintenance Supervisor for Eagle Point Mobile Home Park and a state licensed water plant operator, retiring from Charlotte Correctional Institution in 2007.
He is survived by his 3 children, Duane E. Fenner of Bradenton, Florida, Teresa Slatton of Punta Gorda, Florida and George Fenner of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren, Angela, Desitny and Jacob; 4 sisters, Glea, Marilyn, Carol and Shirley; 2 brothers, Homer and Roger. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard.
